Life in Mexico
Since 2011, I have been living on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, in Puerto Vallarta.
While I call Vallarta home, I have visited many of the popular tourist destinations but my preference has always been for the small towns and areas known for their artisans, unique histories, ancient cultures and authentic cuisines.
Life as an Expat
Taking a big leap in the summer of 2011, I moved with my family to Puerto Vallarta, experiencing many of the challenges and wins found in this country. From registering for school to car insurance to buying a house and dealing with immigration, taxes and banks! (ufff) I share these experiences through my writing and photography.
Traveling beyond the Resort
With a population of 130 million and a land mass greater than Western Europe, Mexico is also the 5th most bio-diverse country on the planet. All of this leads to unique geographical regions, elaborate cultures, UNESCO protected heritage, ancient ceremonies, and amazing people. Relax beachside or explore the tiny villages, there is truly something for everyone in Mexico.

In 2020, I partnered to form Ace Project Marketing Group, selling nearly $1billion in real estate from 2020- 2023. Today I work with Pacific Estates Int'l helping to sell homes in Banderas Bay.

From 2013 to 2019, I was the Director of the Vallarta Tribune. Published weekly, all year, the newspaper was the widest distributed and longest publishing English newspaper in Banderas Bay. Editorial content featured tourism and expat information, along with events and community news.
